Courses are offered in Ann Arbor on Saturdays and in Detroit or Rochester Hills on Friday evenings.

The Foundation Studies

The Foundation Studies program gives an introduction to the ideas and initiatives of Rudolf Steiner.  Conceptual and artistic studies provide the basis for the Waldorf School curriculum and for a personal path of development.  Completion of these studies is a co-requisite to the Elementary Education and Early Childhood Teacher Education programs.  An interview will be required to enter Foundation Studies for certification however students may audit classes without applying into a certification program.  Candidates for the Waldorf certificate should submit an application, complete with transcripts, references and the $50 application fee to the Institute.
